Ask for Andrea, a book I picked up sometime last year at the local Barnes and Nobles (i’m so glad they’re still around). I read a few chapters, eventually got bored again, and never finished. Typical me, buying a book I’ve watched about on TikTok only to never really finishing any of them.
I started talking to a guy recently and one of his hobbies is reading, like, really reading. In a way, from the few conversation we initially had, I figured I’d give it a shot again. Ask for Andrea it is. I’m way ahead from when I gave it a shot last year, but like most things I’m doing with my life moving forward, is actually giving things a shot. I even downloaded apps to keep me on track.
That includes really putting my best foot forward when it comes to all things in my life life, dating, career searching, meal prepping, weight loss, reading, and an abundance of things that I’ve been wanting myself to do. It’s time to quit being lazy.
Anyway, I wanted to talk about he and I. I already know how insane it sounds after hanging out only one time, but he’s different. It’s a weird type of different that I like. The banter is mostly a 10/10 when we text, and my friends know how much I hate texting back and forth, but to find someone that I’m able to have a conversation with through a screen and in person is nothing but refreshing.
