Venice Beach, a beach like no other.

Venice Beach, California is my favorite beach in the state of California. No other beach compares to what this beach has too offer. The culture, the artists, the performers, the homeless, the junkies, the food, to every little thing in between. Venice can be a magical place if you know where too look.

April 20th, 2010 was one of my favorite memories of being here. Josh, Alyssa and myself made the adventure of spending that special day on a special beach. I’ll never forget the lady that was from Tennessee who had never heard of the idea of paying anywhere from $50-$100 to speak with a “doctor” to legally buy marijuana. It was so surreal watching this teacher pose with her students (who had to be in some elementary grade) with the Dr. Kush sign. It was hilarious.

It was really nice to spend a few hours down here the other day with Gia. Although, all we really did was have lunch, it was so nice just being back in that kind of environment. It was really nice watching some of the performers that were there that day, definitely refreshing to see some new acts there, although the guy stepping on glass was timeless. I wanted to watch another sunset in California like I did last year, and this was the perfect spot for that. I’m really happy with the pictures and videos that I captured here. This whole trip has me remembering things from the past, both good and bad, and I like it. It’s good to reflect on things from the past, although I need to learn to let a lot of them go, especially the bad ones. Regardless, Venice was a really special trip for me. I definitely felt very rejuvenated after visiting here. It’s been so long.
